This Bookish Endeavor

I was really excited to read this book, since I had heard so many good things about it. Unfortunately, for me this book ended up being mostly a lot of build-up, and not much else.The chemistry between Alec and Domini was great for the first half of the story, but then things went downhill very quickly. The first 200 pages were a blistering build-up to when these two characters would finally hook up. But when they did, the scenes fell flat and the previous chemistry almost completely disappeared.The rest of the plot was a little too predictable, and the last third of the book moved rather slowly. All in all, I was hoping for a lot more.
