This Bookish Endeavor

3 StarsThis first appeared in the The Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance, and because it was so short, the author obviously didn't have the time to flesh out the characters or the plot...but she still managed to present a sweet paranormal fairy tale. Yes, it was a little silly, yes it was completely implausible. But, I still found myself enjoying the story. I have been a fan of all things Phantom of the Opera related for many years, so that definitely helped with my suspension of disbelief. I have always wanted to read something by Amanda Ashley, but have been weary for two reasons...the less than stellar reviews I have seen for some of her books, and the fact that her love stories are much more on the tame side than I usually prefer *wink*. But, this was a sweet, romantic bit of fluff that i quite enjoyed.Read more of my reviews at BookGasmic.
